Heavy Antique Double Inkwell. Late 19th online Century. Ornate. Probably French

Measures approximately online 24 x 15 cm and 7 1/2 cm high

Good rectangular shape with stylised scrolling foliage.

The inkwells have pottery liners that fit perfectly. So I assume they are original.

Really ornate and very attractive.

Very heavy but I think the metal is brass rather than bronze

Stylistically it looks French and I would date it to the late 19th century.

Good undamaged condition
