I cleaned the inside of it but left the patina on the outer if that's the look you're going for. It's not solid silver but sure is a lot more affordable and looks the exact same as the Tiffany and co platter that is designed exactly the same way. I'm not sure how copyrights worked back In The day, but I couldn't figure out if they knocked online it off or they paid Tiffany royalties (or were affiliated) for the design because It's literally a 1:1 of a very expensive Tiffany dish. But instead it's branded another expensive vintage silver maker. Maintenon. I'm not sure. I don't typically deal in silver dishes. You see what you get, just see the photo of the stamp, I can't make out what the top says. It is a very nice piece!.
