Set of 4 vintage framed miniature paintings or prints, hand signed by artist Syd Walker, 1926-2015.

The set online features scenes of Montrose, Scotland:
- the old Customs House with the spire of Montrose Old and St. Andrew's Church in the background.
- the Montrose Museum as viewed from the corner of Melville Gardens.
- the Montrose Railway Station
- and the Montrose suspension bridge.

Each piece measures 4 3/4 by 5 3/4 inches. Exposes area of paintings measures 2 7/8 by 1 7/8 inches.

They are very detailed, and grouped together they make an outstanding collection of present, long gone, and perhaps soon-to-be gone scenes from this historic Scottish town.

Walker was awarded a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the Queen's New Year's Honours List, 1998. This does not appear on his list of credential acronyms attached to each painting, suggesting that these were made prior to 1998.
